For most people, it’s been an extremely busy week, with many of us back at work after enjoying a break during Chanukah. During these hectic times, it’s easy to feel disconnected from Hashem, and firmly rooted in the corporeal world. Hopefully, shabbes serves to foster a strengthened connection with our Creator. Take 25 hours away from the mundane and spend time just with Him! This week, shabbes candles should be lit at 3:50 PM, and shabbes ends at 5:07 PM on Saturday. While lighting your candles, please keep in mind Chaim Elozor ben Baila, Chaim Elazar Shaul ben Esther, Yisroel ben Esther haCohen and Elana Rachel bas Jill Leah.
