Shabbat Shalom!

The month of Kislev is ahead of us, and this is going to be the first shabbes of the month. Kislev is a month of light. We celebrate Yud Tes Kislev (more on this Chassidic festival later, bli neder) and Chanukah, the ‘festival of lights’. These first few days- and particularly, this first shabbes- will set the precedent for the rest of the month. So let’s fill it with light and hope this illumination continues. If you haven’t done so before, why not light Shabbes candles? In London, England, Shabbes candles should be lit at 3:36 PM. Shabbes ends on saturday at 4:51 PM.

Good Shabbos!
