Shabbat Shalom Haazinu!

It’s been a very busy week. Preperations for Yom Kippur always take up more energy than I expect them to, and the day itself is draining (in the best way possible, of course). However, we are currently in the period between Yom Kippur, and Sukkot (which starts on Sunday), which is an extremely sweet and auspicious time. Naturally, we want to enjoy this period, and enjoying Shabbes is a really great mitzvah. With that in mind, I’d like to wish everyone a really wonderful Shabbes. I’m hoping to re-connect with some old friends and enjoy a good sermon or two, and I’m expecting to find the day spiritually nourishing. What are your plans for Shabbes?

In London, light your Shabbes candles at 5:50 PM tonight. Shabbes goes out at 6:56 PM. On Sunday night, light your holiday candles (for Sukkos) at 5:46 PM. Shabbat Shalom!
