The dedication of a new Torah scroll is welcomed with a celebration. The final letters are written, the Torah is adorned and paraded through the street and welcomed into the Synagogue. It’s a celebration rich with symbolism. It’s stirring. Uplifting. Most of all, it’s beautiful. It’s beautiful to see such dedication to Hashem and His Torah. It reminds us of what the Holy Days are actually about. It’s the most real, geniune, uncommercial celebration there is. May we live to see the day when G-d’s Torah is loved and cherished by all.
